Our client is a global supplier of Enterprise Technology Solutions to organisations within the Insurance, Government, Healthcare, Financial Services, and Telco verticals. IT services include IT consulting, application development, systems integration, application management outsourcing, system rationalisation, testing, data warehousing and business intelligence, CRM services and legacy transformation. Due to further expansion our client is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager based in the Thames Valley.
The Role
The purpose and remit of the Business Development Manager role includes:-
* Combine the Companies, resources enabling optimum coverage of the Financial Services market including Banking, Insurance and Pension providers
* Focal point of contact for the customer, ultimately responsible for the companies' engagement and relationship within the Financial Services market
* Responsibility for winning new profitable business within Financial Services account /contracts
* Developing extensive client relationships, achieving business sales targets and setting program direction in conjunction with VP of Financial Services and other Sales peers
* Ensure continued growth of Financial Services accounts
* Development of accounts, including Account Planning
* Responsible for setting internal direction to achieve a cohesive team approach, in accordance with Account Strategy
* Achieve required sales targets
* Communicate overall account approach to internal team clearly and concisely
* Schedule regular team updates
* Report to the VP Financial Services
The Candidate
The Business Development Manager's skills and experience required for this role:-
* Experience of complex client relationship roles in a technology based role
* Proven track record of winning new business and meeting sales targets
* Exposure to large complicated SI/services sales opportunities
* Industry Knowledge, and most importantly can sell
The Reward
In return the Business Development Manager will receive basic salary of £70k - £80k basic with a £120k OTE plus full range of company benefits including healthcare, pension and car allowance.
